Good evening.  This is Mrs. Mitchell, Principal of Reidsville High School, an IB World School, calling with an important update.  

 

Seniors, as a reminder you can pick up report cards and diplomas tomorrow from 10-2.  Please ensure that you

have paid your fees and fines plus returned your Chromebook, library books, and other items prior to picking

up your diploma.

 

The Class of 2020 “Virtual Graduation Ceremony” will be up for public viewing this Saturday, June 13th starting

at 9:00am.  This channel is available to Spectrum Cable Subscribers in Rockingham County, NC and is

CHANNEL – 2 in Rockingham County.  The ceremony will also premier on YouTube at the same time this Saturday.  The link is available on the Reidsville High School website.  However, it will not be active until the premier time on Saturday.

 

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of Reidsville High School, I would like to congratulate the

Class of 2020.  We wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.

Good evening, this is Reidsville High calling with an update about report cards. Seniors can pick up report cards and diplomas this Friday from 10 am until 2 pm.  Underclassmen report cards will still be mailed this week.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  Please call the main office with any questions.

Good evening this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High an IB World School calling with our weekly announcements.  

 

The Reidsville High School virtual graduation will be shown this Saturday, June 13th at 9:00 am.  The YouTube link will be shared once, it has been released to us. 

 

Students can pick up yearbooks on Monday, June 8th between 10 am until 2 pm.

 

Students please call the office and make an arrangement to pick up materials that you may have left the school

in a classroom.  

 

Report cards will be mailed out to all students in grades 9-11 on June 10th.  Please pay fees and fines prior

to report distribution.

 

Seniors can pick up their final report card, transcript, and diplomas this week from Wednesday to Friday

between 10 - 2. Seniors, please make sure all fees and fines have been paid as well as turning in Chromebooks and library books.

Good evening this is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High an B World School calling with our weekly announcements.  

 

  • Thank you to all the parents and seniors who participated in the graduation processional this weekend.  Photos from the graduation processional will be used for the graduation showing on YouTube on June 13th at 9:00 am.  

  • On Tuesday, June 2nd all rising IB juniors and seniors who are taking English next year will need to stop by the school, between 10 am and 2 pm, to pick up your summer reading book and assignment for this fall due on the first day of class. If you cannot come on the date, please call the school or email Mr. Knight  at wknight@rock.k12.nc.us.

  • Seniors will turn in their Chromebooks, library books, and other items on Monday, June 1st.  Students in grades 9-11 will keep their Chromebooks and they will not be cut off for the summer. Students in grades 9-11 will need to turn in library books and other items. Juniors will return library books on Tuesday, June 2nd;  Sophomores will return library books, and on Wednesday, June 3rd; and freshmen will turn in library books on Thursday, June 4th. All items can be turned in during office hours of 10 am and 2 pm.Please contact the school if you have any questions, at 336-349-6361.

  • June 3rd is the last day of school.

  • Report cards will be issued on June 10th.

Good evening, this is a reminder for seniors that we will have the graduation processional tomorrow at 9:00. Students and families will park in the community stadium football parking lot.  The gates will open at 8 am.  Students should be dressed for photos as this photo will be used for the graduation showing on youtube on June 13th at 9:00 am.

Good evening, the main office will be open tomorrow and this Friday from 10-2 for those seniors who need to pick up awards, car signage for the graduation processional this Saturday at 9:00, and to pay fees and fines.  For those seniors who ordered their cap and gowns late, please check with the main office to see if they have arrived this Friday.

Hello Ram Families! This is Mrs. Mitchell, Principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School, with an important request from our students! Rockingham County Schools has developed a survey to get student input on how they are doing and how they feel about remote learning! We need your help to make sure your student completes this survey by Friday, May 29th at noon. I have shared the link in Canvas and it will be shared on our website tomorrow morning.  Please make sure to have your student complete the survey.  Students will need their “ROCK” email to complete the survey. Please feel free to call the school if you have questions about how to locate the survey. We look forward to hearing from your student! 

 

We were notified today,  that all Chromebooks will remain active for high school students. Senior Chromebooks will still be collected on June 1st.

Good evening.  This is Mrs. Mitchell, Principal of Reidsville High School, an IB World School, calling with our weekly announcements.  

 

  • Since we were closed for the Memorial holiday, we will open on Tuesday, May 26th between the hours of 10 - 2 for business. Students who did not pick up awards or graduation signage for their cars can pick them up tomorrow between 10 am and 2 pm.

  • The Class of 2020 graduation processional for Reidsville High School will be Saturday, May 30th starting at 9:00 am with a rain date of May 31st at 3 pm.  Students should check Canvas for specific information about this event.   After the graduation processional, the RHS team will use this footage for a future showing on June the 13th at 9:00 am.  More details about the future showing format, will be shared once the information is finalized.

  • All chromebooks will be shut off on May 29th.  Please have your students make up work and complete apex prior to May 29th.

  • Chromebook and library book collection will begin the week of June 1st between the hours of 10 - 2. Only seniors will turn in their Chromebooks. Underclassmen (grades 9-11) will turn in library books and other items that need to be returned the remainder of the week.  We will use the following schedule: Monday, June 1st - Seniors will turn in Chromebooks, library books, and other items. Juniors will turn in library books on Tuesday, June 2nd;  Sophomores will return library books on Wednesday, June 3rd; and freshmen will turn in library books on Thursday, June 4th. Please contact the school if you have any questions, at 336-349-6361.

Good evening senior families.  This is Mrs. Mitchell, principal of Reidsville High, an IB World School, calling with an important message. This Friday is awards day for seniors.  Seniors and families should drive by the school to pick up senior awards.  If it is raining, stop by the awning near the cafeteria and we will bring the awards to your graduate.  You can arrive at the school between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm.  And don’t forget we will have a senior surprise for your graduate.  As always, thanks for supporting the Rams and congratulations to the Class of 2020.

Good evening, Seniors and Families:

 

The Class of 2020 graduation celebration for Reidsville High School will be Saturday, May 30th starting at 9:00 am with a rain date of May 31st at 3 pm.  

 

On May 30th, students and families will come to the school with students wearing graduation regalia. The graduation celebration will be outside and there will be several photo options for families to take pictures with

your graduate.  Each student will be allowed  to have no more than three cars to attend this event.  As we develop more plans, we will share specific information about graduation.  We plan to make the event special for graduates and families. We know that having the graduation at RHS will make all of us have a feeling like being at home. Seniors please feel free to decorate your cars for this event too.  After the graduation celebration, the RHS

team will use this footage for a future showing to all families.

 

There will be a Drive Through Awards Day celebration for all seniors on Friday, May 22nd from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm.  Please plan to attend.  Students and Families will not need to get out the car to pick up awards.  However, we will provide a designated place for you to take a picture of your seniors.  Seniors, dress for picture taking with your family.
